Immediate SERVicE opportunities

 

Night Monitor at Clairvaux Farm Shelter for Families and Single Adults

Located at 21 Veazey Cove Road, Earleville

 

Night Monitor at Settlement House (Cecil County Men’s Shelter)

Located at 168 East Main Street, Elkton

 

 

Responsibilities include, but are not necessarily limited to:

Supervise property and residents during overnight hours (10PM – 6AM)

Answer telephone calls

Assist potential residents in cases where emergency overnight housing is needed

Monitor dinner hour and evening activities

Make sure all residents are in their living quarters by curfew

Monitor residents to ensure they are obeying site rules

Issue warnings for breach of site rules and then report to the Program Director

Mediate and resolve conflicts

Assist residents with any emergencies and provides transportation to the hospital if needed.

Implement Chores List and Kitchen Duty List and monitor said assignments

Ensure residents that who have moved out have their belongings

Facilitate room / bed changes

 

 

Private housing is provided at Clairvaux Farm, if so desired.  There is no rent and the accommodation can hold a couple or a small family.
