Deb Alexander-Forsythe will lead a

Bible Study which will begin on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. It will run for 12 weeks. Because the study runs early in the evening, it is not likely we will have to make any changes to date or time, if this runs into the Lenten service season.

Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, by Johanna Weaver is the study. I have been so excited since starting this book. It speaks to every one of us who feel busyness has taken over our lives and crowed out the simple joy of time with GOD...

The book is available at Christianbook.com for $7.49 (sale price).

Study time will run from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and is currently scheduled for Room #2 at Trinity UMC.

Depending on the number interested, we have the option to move the study to Good Shepherd hall, but I need to let them know as soon as possible.

The Chesapeake City United Methodist Charge will again host the

Rotating Shelter.

Shelter Dates are March 12 - 19, 2012.

Please prayerfully seek how your congregation can help with the housing, feeding and nurturing of the homeless who come.

Per Joyce Stansfield overnight supervision (requires 1 male & 1 female) has become the most difficult slot to fill.

Many of our member churches provided dinner.
