Bag of Hope
The Bag of Hope is a joint/unified effort of The
CCEA and The Chesapeake City UMC. Ella Luff served as Director
through the fall of 2009, spearheading the program to its current 37
participating families and maintaining a waiting list for others to
join.
The program will continue under the leadership of Jean Ritter, with group leaders for the 3 individual groups. The CCEA will continue to pay the annual dues to The Maryland Food Bank and insurance in a cooperative partnership that enables the 37 participating families to qualify for food.
